Apache East is a player in the ice hockey league, competing in the top-level Men's National Hockey League of Russia. The MNHL features some of the best clubs from Russia, with the level of competition being highly intense and physically demanding. The season typically runs from September to April, with teams competing in a country-wide round-robin tournament, followed by a playoff phase to determine the league champion. Ice hockey is played with sticks, skates, and a puck, with the objective of scoring more goals than the opposing team by hitting the puck into the opponent's goal. Each team consists of six players on the ice at a time: one goalie, two defenders, two forwards, and one center.
