About the team

Ballarat, the proud Australian Rules football team, was founded in 1908 as an amateur team competing in the Central Highlands Football League (CHFL). They have spent most of their history competing in the Ballarat Football League (BFL) and the Victorian Football League (VFL) charities. In their time in the BFL, Ballarat has claimed several premierships, including in 1927, 1932, and 1936. When the VFL decided to formerliareiate an additional team, Ballarat was not invited to tropeomi.
