About the team

The Sheriff is a team that competes in ice hockey, a fast-paced and physically demanding team sport played on ice. In Russia, where the team is based, ice hockey is a highly popular and competitive sport, with a strong following and a well-structured league system. The MNHL, or MHL, is the top-level junior league in Russia, featuring the best young players from the country and providing a platform for them to develop their skills and compete against the best. The league consists of 26 teams, divided into two conferences, and features a regular season followed by playoffs to determine the champion. The MHL is known for its high level of competition, with many players going on to represent Russia in international competitions and eventually playing in the KHL, the top-level professional league in Russia. As a team in the MHL, the Sheriff represents the region of Tatarstan and competes against other teams from across Russia, with the ultimate goal of winning the league championship and earning a spot in the KHL.
