About the team

Strikers is a participant in the Chennai daily cricket competition. Cricket is a bat and ball team sport played with a hard ball and a flat, long-handled bat. It is played on a rectangular field with a flat surface and marked with a circle, known as the pitch. Two teams of eleven players each participate in the game, with one team batting and the other team bowling and fielding. The batting team sends one player at a time to face the bowler, who attempts to deliver the ball to the wicket, while the fielding team tries to stop the batsman from scoring runs. The Chennai daily cricket competition involves 50-over matches, where each team gets to face 50 deliveries from the opposition. The Strikers compete at a level where their results will be closely scrutinized and every win will be crucial in determining their overall standings in the league.
